Today I had a dilemma. I was trying to look for wallpaper because the one I have set on my phone is getting boring. However, I couldn't find any good ones. They were either the wrong size or ugly. Then I had an idea! I decided to make my own wallpaper on photoshop.
It doesn't stop just there! I have decided that I will make Kpop wallpaper and post it in here! I will either make my own with a picture or just resize the photo so it will fit your phone screen. More details coming soon, but for the mean time here is a picture of the one I made for my own phone.
Yes I know the cropping is bad on this. I used the quick selection tool instead of the pen tool because I was too lazy. DON'T JUDGE ME OK. I'll fix it some other time.
As for now I am only thinking of doing the sizes for iPhones, iPods. iPads, and Samsung Androids.
If you want a specific size for a specific phone that is not these please tell me. If possible also tell me the dimensions.
Today is a wonderful day for kpop fans, unless you are one of those unfortunate souls who wasn't able to go to every kpop fans dream (me T^T). Seriously I live 2 hours from LA yet I was not able to go *sobs loudly*. I feel even more bad for those fans that live miles away or even in a different country. It must cost tons of money to even get a plane ticket to LA.
From what I am seeing the first day of KCON is going great so far. You can go on Instagram to check out live pictures and videos of the event.
I was waiting for fan pics of EXO arriving at the airport, but things were just so damn confusing. People were making up lies that EXO fans were pushing and shoving the members when they haven't even arrived! Then when that was cleared up someone put up a video if them at the Incheon Airport where they were getting crowded by the fans like usual, and said that this was at LAX. In the end EXO completely blew of their fans at LAX. The boys went through an alternative exit, and left the airport safely (but I was kind of scared I was having 48 Hours vibes, anyone else?).
Honestly I think it was smart on EXO's part to try to avoid chaos. Plus, they must have been extremely tired from the flight, and were suffering from jet lag. I mean if I were them, I too, would try to have the quietest exit as possible. However I also feel bad for the fans, because I could totally relate, They were there waiting for hours, hours that could have potentially spent at KCON having fun, to see the boys only to have no chance at all. I heard that the fans were waiting in two lines and were ready to give them a not so hectic welcome, but we will never know for sure if that is true as they were not given a chance to prove themselves. I guess EXO was just not going to take any chances. They shouldn't be too sad though because they will be able to see them at KCON (unlike me ;_;)
As for all the other artist, they all seem to arrive safe. They were greeted a bit loud at the airport, but that is understandable. There was nothing too drastic. Not all the artist have arrived, hopefully they will get a warm welcome. To see videos of the idols arriving from MNET themselves click here.

Yo~ I made another EXO oneshot. I actually had this one started before my BaekYeol one, but I just had the thoughts flowing quicker for the BaekYeol one so I ended it first.
This is a KaiSoo oneshot and it isn't sad like the BaekYeol one. It's kind of short, but I tried my best in writing it so please read.

I am really loving Photoshop. I find it really fun to mess around with the fonts and colors. I don't know but I have always been that way. I like picking colors that match and putting them in a specific order that looks best. I just love it all. For my newest graphic I decided to do Chanyeol since he is my ultimate bias and I just love him so much. Seriously that boy never loses his place on my list. It's like he is stuck there on the top. Here I present you my kinda good masterpiece.
OMG there is way too many comebacks and music videos coming out for me to handle. I also have this problem where I am extremely lazy and I avoid doing reviews. Yeah I have been putting off doing reviews because I am so lazy. When I actually sit down and try to write I start getting distracted by Tumblr and Youtube and just Kpop in general! When a new song and MV comes out I feel so bad when I don't review them but I am just soooooo lazy. I procrastinate a lot too. Ugh I am a bad person...
So more artist were announced for the KCON line-up. The artist announced were 2AM, TEEN TOP, and F(x). Previously they were hinting on adding a girl group to the line-up. Then I heard that F(x)'s comeback was announced. So putting things together they were probably going to promote their song on MCoundown.
More news about KCON is that tickets are on sale at this very moment! So go grab a ticket before they sell out! Also former After School member Bekah will be attending KCON and will be speaking in one of the panels at said event. From what I can remember I think she will be speaking about how idol life is like. Another person attending KCON is Jun Sung Ahn, violinists and Youtuber known by the channel JunCurryAhn. This guy is really good and his cover on Kpop songs are UH-MAZ-ING. So if you are planning on going to Kpop, or just out of pure curiousity, you should go check out his channel.

I have noticed that my blog has recently been just EXO posts but I can't help it. I just have fallen way too hard for these boys.
To the topic at hand. Ok so you know about KCON right, the amazing Korean Convention held in the US as of last year. Well yes, my wonderful 12 gay-but-not-so-gay Asian men shall be attending KCON. At the moment I am a screaming fit of happiness. I may or may not be able to go. Right now I am trying to convince my mother, but let us see how this works out.
EXO has been the very first artist announced in the line-up. So stay tuned for the rest to come.

Recently I have been dabbling in Photoshop, and since I had the horrible idea of reading Anterograde Tomorrow I have been having so many ideas. Yeah I literally cried myself to sleep the night I read Anterograde Tomorrow. It was so beautiful yet so so so sad. I am starting to get teary eyed just thinking about it. Well anyways I wanted to share what I made on Photoshop inspired by the story. It is kind of bad, I have seen WAY better stuff on Tumblr, but I thought I should give it a try.
Ok if you are an EXOtic then you have already heard about, seen, or even listened to the WHOLE LEAKED album. I haven't thankfully. My tumblr dash along with the EXO tag was blowing up with complaints about the situation. It even got to the point where EXO's producer warned the fans that if they keep spreading the leaked tracks he will call the FBI. As threatening as that sounds, I doubt he would do that. But let's back track for a second and discuss how this whole situation came about.
Alright, I think it all began when the skies were one, the legends- haha no. Seriously speaking, my theory is that this happened from an over delayed comeback, which is what most of you think is the source of this too. Yes other fandoms may say that they waited for a comeback longer than EXOtics did, but think about it. Were those groups that were mentioned rookie groups? Did they only release 1 mini album and promote that one album for more than a year? Probably not. Honestly the only fandom I think can relate to EXOtics are those that are the fans of JJ Project (seriously what happened to those guys). We only had 6 songs to listen to and 3 music videos to watch. I can understand that fans got bored and wanted something new. The fact that they are rookie groups adds to the hunger of the fans making them impatient.
What happens when you get impatient fans? You have fans trying whatever they can to get news on their group no matter at what cost. Hence, you get this whole EXO issue. If you think about it, the problems is partially the company's fault. They waited too long for this comeback. Also, for a big company like SM wouldn't you expect them to have better security. Ok leaking the demo of "Wolf" months before it's release is bad, but can be easily looked over. However, having something be leaked THREE TIMES on the SAME group makes it look suspicious on SM's part. A scheme of advertisement if you will. It may or may not be, I have no legit proof to back up my thought. Whatever the case is SM has to either step up on security or thoroughly keep an eye on their employees.
As for the fans, I can't say much as if I say too much it will look like I am leaning to one side. In my opinion listening to the leaked songs or watching the leaked dance practice is something you shouldn't do. For one it defeats the purpose of them setting a specific date for the comeback. They do that to build hype and excitement of not knowing what to expect. It makes the whole experience much better. Second you have this guilty feeling after you listen to them. Sure at the moment you would be all happy a fangirling over the songs, but then you start to think what EXO would think, or what do they think about this whole situation.
I'm not mad at the fans that stumbled upon the audio or the ones that couldn't hold their curiosity (the song is right there of course you would want to hear it. I had to stop myself from hearing the album and watching the video). I am mad at whoever leaked them. Did they really have to share it to the whole world. If they themselves were fans of EXO then I am ashamed to have those kind of people in the fandom. Maybe they thought they were doing EXOtics a favor, but all the did was cause a war within the fandom. Once it's
started it's hard to stop the audio or video from spreading. I was on Tumblr and a bunch of EXOtics were telling people to stop spreading the leaks, but to no avail. Even today I see the leaks on my Tumblr dashboard.
But what can you do? What's done is done, and we had no way of preventing it. I think SM should take some notes this time and not make the EXOtics wait so long for a comeback when they just barely debuted. Sure it creates a lot of attention and anticipation, but the fans get so idol thirsty they don't seem themselves anymore.

Ok I would have reviewed the MV the same day it was released, however I stayed up until 2am waiting for the M!Countdown comeback stage and the music video. Then I had to recover from the loss of sleep when I came back from school. I was so mad when I was trying to watch M!Countdown because MNet was sooooooooo slow from all the people watching it so I couldn't log in. I ended up having to watch it live on a crappy website.
Anyway on to the reviewing!
Honestly tell me when you first listened to "Wolf" you didn't cringe, even a little bit. When I first listen to a song I don't look at it from a fangirl's perspective. Although I may be going crazy over the video I may not think the same about the song. When I heard it on the album medley I was thinking it was going to be epic and have a really fierce MV , which it did. I just don't know if it's me or what but on the first full listen of the song I was confused. It didn't sound like a bunch of different songs (*cough*IGAB*coughcough*) put together, but it didn't sound like it fit well. The chorus was really strong and so was the rest if the song, but parts sounded different than others. I don't know, I just can't find a word or phrase that explains what I mean. When I do really like a group I tend to have the song grow on me faster than it would for a group I don't particularly listen to, so now I am full on jammin' to "Wolf".
The song really did justice to Chen, D.O, and Baekhyun's voices especially toward the end. MY GOD DID MY OVARIES EXPLODE. I also liked the fact how they all sang one language. I expected something like MAMA, but they would all be dancing and the ones that would be on the front would be the ones singing in their designated languages. I literally started crying when Chanyeol came out singing in Mandarin. I just couldn't. UGH! THESE BOYS RUINED MY LIFE!
On the subject of the song, anybody else get irked when they say "oolf". It's cute but I can't just let it slide. you know. You can't blame it on their Asian accents because just today I listened to the leaked demo (which I will write a strongly worded article about later). I finally brought it upon myself to hear it because I already heard the finished product so it doesn't matter. In the demo they correctly pronounced wolf, so whoever or whatever made them change the pronunciation deserves a big slap in the head.
The lyrics are about what you expect it to be about: Romance. It gives you the hint in the teaser with the plot MV it teased us about. BTW I cannot wait for the drama version to be released, it looks so epic. Based on the English translation I have to say the lyrics aren't bad. Most SM songs have a catchy sound, but the lyrics are not interesting or really good, no offense SM stans. This song was a bit different. The lyrics fit with the concept and it made sense. I like how the lyrics have this sort of love story going on where a wolf falls for a human and can't find the strength nor the will for them to eat said human. Typical plot yes, but you don't usually see that incorporated into a song much less a Kpop song.
I also concur that the song can be a metaphor. Referencing back to the teaser it looks like Luhan and Kai fight over a girl. Luhan could be a playboy/thug who does nothing but hurt people. He is the wolf. The monster who ends up falling for the innocent pray. Thus he can't find it in himself to hurt her in anyway contradicting what he was so used to already. She is a "one-bite meal" ,as stated in the lyrics, however the "wolf" just cannot find it in himself to harm her.
Ok I was bawling my eyes out watching this music video. It was 3 in the morning I was tired and very emotional, ok! My brother tried to stay up with me since he had a project to get done anyway. Unfortunately that loser fell asleep, but he said he heard my squeals and cries in his sleep haha, I REGRET NOTHING! I first watched the Chinese version and Chanyeol just killed me there singing in Mandarin. In the Korean one I started crying again, because Chanyeol came out first. I liked the tree looking pose they did in the beginning and in the middle where they did two trees. The effects were pretty cool too. Them turning from wolves to humans was really well thought. Kai's braids weren't doing it for me AT ALL. Most of you would agree right? Since it was more of a dance version of the MV there wasn't much to see, so yeah. I can tell you now that I will probably do a better music video review of the drama version.
The dance was itself really different then what you typically see in Kpop. I appreciated the fact that the theme was also in the dance. They clawed at the camera and made mad faces. To me it looked like they were trying really hard to give it that wolf feel than to make it sexually appealing, which in my book is a lot better than crotch grabbing or hip thrusting (although they did kind of thrust in the air at the end. I thought that looked pretty dumb). I disliked the part at the end where they make a wolf chomping motion with their hands. Everything else was amazing. It looks like the dance has to be done with all 12 of them so they have no choice but to always perform this song together FOREVER! MUAHAHAHA!!!
The clothes for the music video were ok. I'm just glad they didn't go for a full on wolf concept for the fashion of the video, because that is a disaster waiting to happen. Kai's clothes though... they were...I think... EWWWW! The outfit he had in the beginning was just terrible and the braids didn't help. I did't like Luhan long sleeved black shirt with the puffy cuffs either. On a better note, D,O look damn hot in his outfits. I never really saw him as extremely good looking like Lay or Kai, but he was the best looking out of all of the this time (well except for my Park Do-Bi).
OKAY I CAN NOT CALM DOWN! I know this is a but late, but I am sososososososososo happy to say that FINALLY EXO will be having their comeback! I can't be anymore happy! JUNE 3rd is the said released date for the music video and album. So, I am guessing it will be June 2nd for me. As of now all that has been released about the comeback is a teaser images, teaser video, and the tracklist. This will be EXO's first full length album. I just can't right now. To top it all off they will be promoting as OT12. Did you hear that O-T-FUCKING-TWELVE. I was not expecting that! But of course knowing SM they will do something to make the fans waste more money, resulting in them making two versions of the album. The album is titled "XOXO" and there will be a "Kiss" version and a "Hug" version (I have got to start saving now so that I can pre-order them ^^). The title song of the album is said to be named "Wolf". Some are complaining that SM should not have still used the leaked track. Others are saying it may not be the same song as the alternative name for it is "The Wolf and Beauty". Recently I have been having this obsession with EXO. More specifically Chanyeol. I just can't get him out of my mind. He is just a wonderful light of pure happiness. I don't really know how to explain exactly. I get all excited and happy when I see his pictures. He seems so adorable and hot and perfect that it seems so unreal to me.
I sound like a crazy overly obsessed fangirl, I know. I just had to get all these emotions out of my chest. It doesn't help that EXO has taken far to long to have a comeback. I need it now!
So in my local Circle K there is this dude that just stands outside and draws people. He super fast too. He drew me in the amount of time it took my brother to go inside and buy a water and Monster for my mom.
This guy doesn't go to school. He has no professional experience. He learned how to draw by himself (I learned this info from my mom's small chat with him)
